Mr. Wesson joined Galen in 1991 after serving as a Senior Vice President and Managing Director in the Corporate Finance Division at Smith Barney, where he worked for over 23 years.

During his tenure at Smith Barney, Mr. Wesson directed the Major Account Group and was Senior Managing Director in charge of the East Coast region. Mr. Wesson was also Chairman of the Valuation and Opinion Committee for Corporate Finance. In this capacity, he was ultimately responsible for all of the valuation and opinions given by Smith Barney.

Mr. Wesson currently serves on the Board of Directors of MedAssets (Vice Chairman), Derma Sciences, Acura Pharmaceuticals, and TPS. Mr. Wesson is a past trustee of Colgate University for nine years and had served as President of Colgate’s Alumni Corporation Board of Directors. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of the Overlook Hospital Foundation.

He earned a B.A. from Colgate University and a M.B.A. from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business.

Mr. Davidson has been involved in the medical device industry for over 35 years and has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of publicly-held orthopedic company Encore Medical and specialized medical supply provider Maxxim Medical. As Chief Executive Officer of Maxxim Medical, Inc., Mr. Davidson grew the business from less than $10 million in revenue to over $700 million. Prior to Encore and Maxxim Medical, Inc., Mr. Davidson held various positions with Intermedics, Baxter and Merck.

Mr. Davidson currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Medical Action Industries, a leading supplier of medical and surgical products with revenues of approximately $400 million and is a Special Venture Partner at Galen Partners.
